Savage Gulf - Stone Door July 2007

Berry and I set out for one last hiking trip before our big adventure out to Montana. We decided to hike from Stone Door and then camp at Alum Gap. We drove in on Friday night, set up camp in the dark. (I'm not even sure we were actually in a campsite or taking up a couple at a time) We got up Saturday morning and got on the trail rather early. We stop several times along the trail to take pictures and rest. We got close to Alum Gap campsite area where there is a big sink. Pretty much this means that there is an area to get wet. We met some other hikers from Florida at the sink. We continued on and decided that we would just go ahead and hike it in. We did not have a watch so we were unsure of the time but knew we would have enough time to hike the last 3 miles out. This would give us a better idea of the actual distance per day we will be walking this next week in Glacier Park Montana. We ended up getting off the trail and headed back home by 12:30. Wow we smoked that trail. We figure we walked the entire 8 miles + in less that 5 hours. More like 4 and a half.

Test Drive a Mercedes Day 2007

Test Drive a Mercedes Day 2007
This past Saturday, my mother and I met up with our nation and went to the Annual Test Drive a Mercedes Day with Arbonne. We got to look at all the mercedes so when it comes time for us to pick out our car of choice we know which one we like. I test drove the small SUV, which is the one I will be getting when I get to Regional Vice President. Arbonne has this really cool incentive: reach Regional Vice President and get paid to drive a Mercedes of your choice. All that on top of the great commission structure. Arbonne is a great compant that allows all of their business builders to make the money they want on their own time.

Cake Anyone?

Cake Anyone?
I really don't have much to blog about but thought I should put something up so I thought about my cakes. I have put together a picture of some of the cakes I have done in the past. I love to create and decorate cakes for special occassions. My biggest supporters thus far have been family and co-workers. In fact I think my biggest fan is Abby my niece. We have done some really cool cakes for her birthday's over the past couple of years. I am welcoming the upcoming birthday of Beau my nephew; finally cakes for a boy. Hopefully you are not viewing these photos hungry as they are delicious and smell fantastic.( What am I thinking- you can't smell thru a computer :>)Enjoy!!!!!

Molsen, Angel & Skylar

Molsen, Angel & Skylar
So today I decided to post a picture of our dogs. They are our pride and joy. We are the proud parents of three Cocker Spaniels. As you can see they are all blondes and seem to act like it a lot. The first picture is of Angel and Molsen; sisters. The second is Skylar; a year younger than the girls. These three are such crazy dogs. They all sing to the church bells on Sunday morning, and I have to say they are terrible singers. They are cute though. Molsen loves to swim and rough-house, Angel loves the tummy rubs and Skylar loves to fetch. They are a ton of fun. We take them with us when we go camping and they love it.
